Phil Badham is an experienced teacher, trainer and consultant who is passionate about how technology enhances teaching and learning across the curriculum.
Phil taught English and Religious Studies at secondary level and held senior posts in pastoral, academic and eLearning positions before becoming a learning technologies specialist for a large academies’ trust.
He likes to deliver training sessions with the ethos and aim of investing confidence, delivering transferrable knowledge and developing key skills to encourage and widen the use of the software in the classroom by specialists and non-specialists alike.
Over the last 15 years, Phil has pioneered exemplary practice with emerging learning technologies, trained hundreds of staff and students on digital creativity, and helped school leaders across the country integrate and embed exceptional practice in the classroom.
Phil has a keen interest in digital design. He is an accredited Adobe Certified Educator and Adobe Education Leader and enjoys leading training and development for schools in industry-standard software like Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro.
He has presented at national and international conferences on topics such as Digital Creativity in the Classroom, Virtual Learning Environment Implementation, Literacy across the Curriculum, Flipped Learning, Mobile Learning in the Field, and Immersive Learning Experiences. He’s also designed, written and contributed to commercial training packages, eLearning materials and curricula for UK and multinational companies.
Phil aims to empower staff with the means and methods to deliver modern, engaging and effective learning experiences to students.
